Polaris Industries today announced an exciting new "Winning Riders" program.
October 7, 2005

Medina, MN - MEDINA, MN-- (September 20, 2005) Polaris Industries today announced an exciting new "Winning Riders" program. The sport of Snowmobiling is built by thousands of clubs and volunteers who give countless thousands of man hours to develop, maintain and groom the over 225,000 miles of trails in North America. Most of the trails and riding areas Snowmobilers enjoy today exist because of volunteers. The "Winning Riders" program is designed to recognize and say thank you to the state and provincial associations and their clubs and volunteers.

The "Winning Riders" program will provide a cash donation to North American States and Provinces for every new Polaris snowmobile sold from September 1, 2005 until March 31, 2006. Checks will be distributed on or before May 1, 2006. Eric Lindquist, Snowmobile Division General Manager said "We want to give back to the grassroots level, and the "Winning Riders" program is one way to do so."

In addition to a cash donation to the states and provinces, which can be used for any purpose they choose, Polaris will also be mailing a thank you letter to every new Polaris snowmobile purchaser. The letter will not only thank them for their purchase, but will also tell them about the donation, by Polaris, on their behalf, and drive them to the Polaris website at www.polarisindustries.com/WinningRiders where they can learn more about their state or provincial association. The web site encourages membership and involvement for riders that are not currently members.

Polaris will further support the "Winning Riders" program by placing ads in many state and provincial association publications from October, 2005 through March, 2006. The ad Features a gloved hand with a big "thumbs up," and is entitled "Sweet Trails. Fresh Powder. And The Clubs Who Make It All Possible."
